Top 4 Seller Objections 

 

#1. “If I list my home, I can’t sell my home to my own buyers as a For-Sale-By-Owner.”  Not true!  When you list with Austin Trenton Realty, you may remain a For-Sell-By-Owner (if you care to) so that you may sell your home to your own buyers for FREE—without having to pay a real estate commission; while, simultaneously, having your home listed with us on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) without having to pay a fee.

 

#2. “I can’t afford to list my home.”  Not true!  You Pay nothing (0%) when you sell your home to your own Buyers as a For-Sale-By-Owner--including Buyers that you sell your home to as a for-Sale-By-Owner that are referred to you by your agent, all the while your home is listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). 

 

Only if you request your agent to work with such Buyers--to write your home’s offer, negotiate your home’s purchase agreement, conduct your home’s Home Inspections, close your home’s transaction and put a check in your pocket—all without charging any administrative or miscellaneous junk fees, will a fee of just 2.9% apply. Only 2.9% That’s it.

 

Moreover, unlike other For-Sale-By-Owner Programs that charge an upfront fee of Hundreds of Dollars just to place your home on the MLS, this program is absolutely FREE   As, there is no upfront fee and no fee when you sell your home to your own Buyers or when you sell your home to Buyers that your agent refers to you.

 

Only if you decide to sale your home to a Buyer who is represented by another real estate company would there be an additional fee that you negotiate with such other company yourself.

In short, you’ll pay nothing when you sell your home to your own Buyer or to Buyers that your agent refers to you, and a 2.9% fee if we sell your home.  Only if you sale your home to a Buyer who is represented by another real estate company would there be an additional fee that you negotiate with such other company yourself.  You decide.

 

#3. " If I list my home, I'll have to raise my home's asking price."  Not true!   As a For-Sale-By-Owner, you may (if you choose to) keep your home's asking price right where it is now while you are listed; and, simultaneously, as a homeowner--who is listed with Austin Trenton Realty's For-Sale-By-Owner Program, you may choose a listed asking price for your home that differs from your For-Sale-By-Owner asking price for your home (i.e., you may choose a listed asking price for your home that is the same, or more, than your home's For-Sale-By-Owner asking price--it's all up to you, is perfectly legitimate and legal to do so.)  

 

#4. “If I list my home, I’ll be stuck in a lengthy contract that I can’t get out of.”  Not true!  You may end your listing at any time—period!  As, unlike many real estate companies that will tell you that you may cancel your listing at any time; but, upon being notified that you would like to cancel your listing agreement, will only cease your home’s marketing efforts and retain your listing contract—precluding you from listing with another real estate brokerage, we actually end your listing so that you may re-list your home elsewhere with another real estate brokerage if you choose to do so.
